Your $200 registration fee covers up to FIVE people from your park, access to two days of educational seminars, our exclusive “behind-the-scenes” events, dinner program Friday night of the event, and of course, the top-notch trade show!

Here is a general overview of the flow of COE 2023:

Wednesday November 29 – Education/Expo/Program Day

  • 8:00 to 8:30a – Welcome/Opening Session
  • 9:00a to 12:30p – Educational Seminars
  • 12:30 to 4:30p – Expo Hall Open
  • 4:30 – 6:30p – Evening Program/Dinner with Attendees & Exhibitors

Thursday November 30 – Expo/Education Day

  • 8:00a to Noon – Expo Hall Open
  • 12:30- 1:30p – Ticketed Lunch & Learn Session in Ballroom (Details coming soon!)
  • 1:30p – Event done for the day – this is a great opportunity for additional networking, or exploring Branson, etc. Some State Association meetings will also be held this afternoon. Check back for more details on this soon!

Friday December 1 – Full Education/Networking Day

  • 9:00a to 12:30p – Educational Seminars
  • 12:30 – 2:30p – Break – use this time to grab a networking lunch with peers, take a rest or explore Branson Landing across the street from the convention center!
  • 3:00 – 5:00p – Facilitated Networking Event – End of event drawings held at this event.

Saturday December 2 – Half Education/Wrap-Up Day

  • 9:00 to 11:15a – Educational Seminars
  • 11:30a to 12:30p – Event Wrap-up Session
  • 12:30p – 2023 COE concludes!

This “lunch-and-learn” session is an add-on, ticketed event for COE registered attendees only, and will feature the owner of Dick’s 5 & 10, Steve Hartley speaking about how his family got into this retail/tourism business, how they choose items to sell in their store, how they decide the best ways to display merchandise and how they continually redesign the store, keeping it appealing for locals and tourists to come back time after time! Many campgrounds have camp stores, and big or small, this a great opportunity for you to learn how this family-owned store, that began as only 1,500 square feet of retail space, grew to 10,000 square feet over 60 years later!


Who We Are

The Campground Owners Expo (COE), owned by Severson & Associates, a Management, Training and Consulting firm, was formed to give campground owners numerous networking opportunities. Lori Severson, Owner of Severson & Associates and Bud Styer, from Bud Styer Associates, Camping for the Fun of It, have successfully participated in hundreds of shows with a combined 50 years of industry, campground association, and trade show experience!

Whether you already have a State Association and need help growing it or don’t yet have an association in your State, participate in the COE and network with other campground owners who want to take their business to the next level! Lodging Information

Our event and group lodging block is located at the Hilton Branson Convention Center. Located in historic downtown Branson, connected to the Branson Convention Center. Shops and restaurants at Branson Landing are just across the street, and it’s less than 15 minutes from the Titanic Museum and Branson Hills Golf Club. The hotel features golf packages, both an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, and spectacular views of Lake Taneycomo.
